Capel Sound Foreshore Reserves is located on the stunning Mornington Peninsula. We aim to encourage participation in a range of outdoor activities by improving important environmental assets such as the scarce Banksia Woodland, as well as looking after the campgrounds, baytrail and boat ramp alike.

Capel Sound Foreshore Reserves is Crown Land, managed by a Committee appointed by the Department of Environment, Land, Water and Planning (DELWP).

These committee members are minders for a number of strategies that define our coast outlined in the Coastal Management Plan 2016 (CMP).

Full-time staff are responsible for the everyday operations and assist in implementing and managing the strategies.
