Managing roads, public amenities, boat ramp and camping facilities is of paramount importance. In striving to improve the infrastructure throughout CSF it is hoped we will enable a healthy lifestyle for all visitors.
The challenge of keeping the existing infrastructure in good working condition and providing the infrastructure that will be needed in the future is a big task. To help us manage these better we have divided them into two streams - Maintenance and Projects.

We have recently completed an audit of each of the existing eight toilet blocks along the length of the foreshore and will be carrying out identified maintenance in time for the 2018/19 holiday season. This will include the upgrading of facilities within some of these.
Our major projects are the re-development of the day-visitor area at the end of Truemans Road - which we currently refer to as the Truemans Precinct. This precinct covers an area of around 200m from east to west and is well used by locals and visitors all year round. We will now be working with the Shire to re-design and re-develop the area so it better meets everyone's needs.
Also underway is the area at the end of Leonard Street. We have recently re-defined and re-surfaced the tracks in this precinct but still need to install bollards and create a better space for all users
