Truemans Road Redevelopment
Community consultation session on-site, 9am - 11am 19th October.
Capel Sound Foreshore Committee of Management (The committee) is seeking community support and input into our plans to redevelop the foreshore area around the Truemans Road Beach Car Park. This could include a new toilet block, playground, boardwalk and additional picnic facilities.
Below are the draft plans of the planned redevelopment. An essential part of this process is the community participation in decision making to ensure we meet the needs of the local community. If you cannot attend the open discussion session and have any ideas, comments or questions please submit them using the form at the bottom of this page.
The Committee recently met with both local federal and state goverment representatives, Greg Hunt MP and Chris Brayne MP respectively. These meetings were to discuss the redevelopment of the Truemans Road Beach precinct. We are seeking funding assistance to help complete the project.
Come along to our open discussion session onsite (Foreshore reserve at corner of Truemans Road and Point Nepean Rd, Tootgarook) from 9am - 11am 19th October to view and discuss plans.
Use the below form to submit your feedback on the draft plans.
